Once upon a time,
There were two sisters who grew up dreaming of fairies, magical lands and mythical creatures. One day they grew up and lost their way, and all the magical creatures disappeared from their lives. As they grew older and had their own children they remembered the joy of childhood, of making mud pies and floral elixirs, fairy gardens and magical potions. They remembered how it felt to be a child, the frustrations and the emotions and the pure joy that magic brought with it through difficult times. They decided to try to bring the magic back, to themselves and to their children. So they worked away, way into the night while their children slept in their beds. They mixed ingredients and colours and scents. They wrote recipes and spells, rhymes and magical affirmations. They tested and re-wrote and tested some more. They wanted the spells to have meaning and purpose. They researched calming strategies for kids, mindfulness, visualisation, intention setting and affirmations, play based learning and nature play. They consulted experts and friends… …. Until one day, their potion kits were ready. Potion Kits full of magic, positivity, affirmations and fun. We hope you love them as much as we do.

Who are we?
Founded by two sisters and run by a team of Potion Pixies, we are a group of dreamers. Every person involved in The Little Potion Co. is a magical soul who wants to pass their spark on to others. We recognize the wisdom of our ancestors and we remember the nostalgia of our youth. It is our goal to raise a generation of children who are creative, adaptive, and who never stop believing in magic.
What we Do?
We make potion kits for children of all ages - including adults! We all have an inner child. In the backyards of our childhoods, we Potion Pixies grew up making potions, turning leaves and dirt and flowers into magic. In our muddy cauldrons, we could conjure all sorts of things, like confidence or love or a whole other world inside our imaginations. In every potion kit, we strive to bring that same magic to the next generation. Like our backyard potions, but better!
How we do it!
We are a small business that prioritizes people and the planet in everything we do. All of our potion ingredients are made in small batches, packed in reusable, recyclable, or biodegradable materials with love. All of our potion ingredients themselves are biodegradable - including the glitter! We ship worldwide, so that people everywhere can enjoy the magic of potion-making!
Because everything is made in small batches, and because we strive to keep our carbon footprint as low as possible, our standard shipping may require a bit of patience. Bear with us! Rest assured, your potion kit will be well worth the wait. Anticipation is a magic all its own!
Why affirmations?
To make this magic even stronger, we build our potion kits around affirmations. Because there’s something very special about bringing an affirmation to life with a potion. It’s much easier to feel the self love welling up in your heart when you’re watching your ingredients fizz into a froth right in front of you. We believe that, with a pinch of Fairy Crystals, a dash of Friendship Tonic, and the right words, we can affect real change in our lives.
There’s magic in mindfulness. There’s power in positivity. Magic words do exist! We just call them affirmations!
